March Lane Bike Path

Project Description

The March Lane Bike Path project will improve the bicycle and pedestrian path, providing a wider cross-section for more comfortable travel. Improvements will be made mid-block and at intersections, with gap closures and enhanced connections to adjacent uses, promoting safer, healthier travel options.

This corridor is for recreational and commuter uses. It provides a separate right-of-way and is designated for the exclusive use of riding bicycles or walking with minimal cross-flow traffic.

Project construction will begin in the summer of 2022 and will take several months to complete.

Funding

Funding for the design of this project is from a Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) Improvement Program grant. Construction funding is from the Active Transportation Plan (ATP) Program.
