Projects

The Public Works Department provides an active and extensive Capital Improvement Program (CIP) that relies almost exclusively on non-General Fund sources to fund projects. This Program maintains, improves, and expands the City's infrastructure and public safety.

Miracle Mile Improvements

Stockton’s Miracle Mile is located in San Joaquin County in the City of Stockton on Pacific Avenue from Alpine to Harding Way. AB 179 (2022) has granted $20,000,000 to the City of Stockton for pedestrian crossings and other public safety improvements as well as revitalization for this stretch of Pacific Ave.

 

An Ad Hoc Workgroup comprised of members of the community will provide recommendations to the City of Stockton on how to best achieve these safety and revitalization goals.
