Electronic Building Plan Submittal and Review

To streamline services and reduce waste, the City's Building Division utilizes Electronic Plan Check (EPC) in lieu of traditional paper-based submittals. Please visit the Plan Check page for more information about the plan check process and submittal requirements.

Other Building Permit Types

The following permit types must be submitted in-person at the Permit Center:

  • Residential patio covers
  • Swimming pools and spas
    • Due to the processing time for pool submittals, there is a limit of (1) application per customer for same day permit issuance. Additional applications may be dropped off for review and processing.
  • Signs
  • Minor residential projects
  • Photovoltaic revisions

For permit types listed above and all other permit types, review our Building Applications and Handouts:

  1. Download permit applications, checklists, and information sheets,
  2. Complete and sign necessary documents, and
  3. Bring all documents to the Permit Center.

Permit Center Technicians will review documents and provide further assistance upon your visit to the Permit Center.
