Water is an important resource with limited supply. The City of Stockton is committed to conserving this precious resource.
In response to the Governor's Drought Emergency Declaration, the Stockton City Council adopted a Resolution declaring a Stage 2 Water Shortage Emergency on July 12, 2022. Effective immediately:

A postcard was sent to customers notifying them about the implementation of a Stage 2 Water Shortage Emergency.
Written authorization from the MUD is required to drain or refill a pool between June 1 and October 1.
Water saving tool kits are available to residential customers in the City of Stockton water service area while supplies last.
The City and the Stockton Area Water Suppliers (SAWS) provide in-class, after-school, and assembly programs to promote water conservation.
