Grants

The City of Stockton uses grant funding to provide a number of services to the community, including:

• After School and Summer Programs
• Anti-Crime and Public Safety Programs, such as the Peacekeeper Gang Outreach Program
• Construction and rehabilitation of community centers
• Improvement and maintenance of boating and waterway facilities
• Low-Income housing programs that help provide clean, affordable housing for low-income families and individuals
• Maintenance of parks, pools, play lots, trees and landscaping
• Museum exhibits such as the Delta Region Exhibit at the Children's Museum
• Revitalization projects such as the renovation of the Bob Hope Theater and development of the DeCarli Plaza
