Prevention
The Fire Prevention Division (FPD) ensures that fire and life safety procedures are implemented throughout the Stockton Fire Department's response area. The FPD coordinates inspection practices with firehouse personnel and are available for consultation with fire code interpretation. Additionally, the FPD oversees the adopt-a-school program to provide fire and life safety instruction for elementary school children throughout the Stockton area.
