Teen Activities 

Please use the Teen Registration Form to register for these activities. 

Community Center Teen Programming

 

 Grades: 7th through 12th

Cost: Free with valid Student ID

Hours: 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday

 

Teen programming varies at each community center. Programming includes the following activities:

  • Teen room with homework help, gaming systems, tv's, and wi-fi;
  • Arts & crafts; and
  • Gymnasium access (basketball, badminton, volleyball, futsal, etc.).

Please contact the center you wish to attend for specific programming information and schedule.

Library Teen Volunteers

Stockton - San Joaquin County Public Library

  • Ages: 16+
  • Cost: Free
  • Registration Information: SSJCPL website
  • Day/Time of Week to Volunteer: TBA

Library Volunteers are crucial to the smooth operation of library services to the community. Volunteer activities include helping shelve books, cleaning book jackets, straightening books, and much more. Sometimes, schools will credit Library Volunteer Work for academic experience. Check with your school counselor.

 

Stockton Police Youth Activities (SPYA) & Cadet Program

Stockton Police Junior Cadet Program 

  • Ages: 14 - 17.5

SPYA Youth Boxing Program at the McKinley Center

  • Ages: 8 - 18

SPYA Youth Karate Program at the McKinley Center

  • Ages: 8 - 18

This is a non-profit organization fully supported by volunteer Stockton Police Officers and Stockton youth. The program helps young adults develop responsibility, trust, teamwork, and leadership skills that are looked for in law enforcement professionals.
