Weber Point Fountain

Weber Point Fountain - Closed on August 28, 2023. Reopens August 29, 2023 

  • Open daily from May 28 - September 8, 2023; 11:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • The fountain will be closed to the public when Weber Point Events Center is hosting a special event and when the fountain is undergoing maintenance.
  • Signs are posted when the fountain is closed.

 

Use Requirements

  • All users are required to follow the posted rules.
  • Outdoor shower facilities have been installed and all users are required to rinse before entering the fountain.
  • The fountain will automatically shut off to complete a sensor-detected cleansing cycle, which will vary based on use. 

 

Aquatics & Pools

The Community Services Department contracts with Pools and Lifeguard Management for aquatic operations and programming. Please contact the Pools and Lifeguard Management office at (209) 271-9728 for questions relating to public swimming, swim lessons, and summer employment.  

 

Hours of Operation and Fees

Hours of operation are subject to weather conditions. 

  • Oak Park Pool - 3537 Alvarado Ave. - Open (Tuesday - Sunday)
  • Sousa Park Pool - 2829 Yellowstone Ave. - Open (Tuesday - Sunday)
  • Holiday Park Pool - 5710 Kermit Ln. - Open (Tuesday - Sunday)
  • Brooking Park Pool - 4505 Nugget Ave. - Closed - Brooking Park Pool is currently closed for repairs and is tentatively scheduled to reopen in late July 2023.

  • Weekends
    • May 27, 2023 - September 3, 2023*
    • Saturday - Sunday 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. 
    • Pools will be open Labor Day September 4, 2023. 
  • Weekdays
    • May 27, 2023 - August 6, 2023
    • Tuesday - Friday 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. 
  • $3 per person. (Holiday Park residents are $1 per person/$3 per family at Holiday Park Pool)
  • Season Family Passes are available for four adults and four children at $50 per swim season. 
  • Open to the public. Participants under the age of 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18.

Family Swim

    • Saturday - Sunday 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. 
    • Pools will be open Labor Day September 4, 2023.
  • Weekdays
    • May 27, 2023 - August 6, 2023
    • Tuesday - Friday 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
  • $3 per person. (Holiday Park residents are $1 per person/$3 per family at Holiday Park Pool)
  • Season Family Passes are available for four adults and four children at $50 per swim season. 
  • Families will be encouraged to enjoy the pool. No unaccompanied minors under the age of 18 will be able to participate in this session.

Learn to Swim Equity Program

The City of Stockton Community Services Department is providing free swimming lessons for Stockton youth through the Learn to Swim Equity Program which will award a total of $19,000 in grant funds. The grant program’s goal is to support a new program to teach youth how to swim at zero cost to the families.

  • Applications for the Learn to Swim Equity Program are no longer available. 

 

Program Funding

The Learn to Swim Equity Program is funded through the Brian M. Stocker fund that was established at the Community Foundation of San Joaquin through a legacy gift from the estate of Brian M. Stocker. The mission of the Fund is to support Brian’s lifelong passion for recreation programs, wellness, and healthy living among children and youth.
