Community FuelsGreen gas pump

Community Fuels specializes in the production of bio-diesel fuels, a non-toxic, biodegradable fuel source that can be used in diesel engines and produces low levels of CFC's.It is projected that from their 40,000 s.f. warehouse located at the Port of Stockton, the company will be able to produce 5 million gallons of bio-diesel annually.

 

Cencal RecyclingRecycling

Cencal Recycling is a full service recycling company, handling paper, plastic, and metal products. The company goal is to process as much paper, cardboard, pre consumer plastics and metals as possible by continuing to be the low cost provider in the Central Valley.

 

Quality Office LiquidationsRed Office Furniture

Incorporated in 2004, this Port of Stockton based business considers itself a "green" company because it recycles used furniture. It is also an affiliate of the W.K. Leach Company which is one of the countries largest wholesale distributors of used furniture!


TCP. Inc

TCP, Inc., the world's largest manufacturer of energy efficient lighting products, announces the relocation of its west coast distribution center and warehouse to the Massie Industrial Park in Stockton, California.  The 130,000-square-foot building features state-of-the-art radio frequency technology, 10 loading docks, and office and meeting spaces. 

The new facility, which opens on July 1, will bring as many as 30 new jobs to San Joaquin County.

Tri-Valley Recycling

Tri Valley Recycling collects and properly handles electronic waste. The company was formed to help businesses and consumers with a way to dispose of electronic waste materials in a manner that is not only cost effective, but environmentally responsible, and in full compliance with the law.

A-Plus Material Recycling

A-Plus provides refuse services specializing in dump operation. This company specializes in recycling wood, concrete, building materials, etc. It began operation in 2003 and currently has 15 employees.

VP Electronics

With two locations in the Stockton Area, VP Electronics specializes in recycling consumer electronics and equipment. Everything from batteries and cell phones to computer components and television sets.VP Electronics began operations in 2001 and opened their second location in 2007. They currently have 25 employees.

 

Green Development in Stockton

Gill Medical Center

Soon to be located at 1701 N. California Street, the Gill Medical Center will be the first "Green Building" in the city and would be the first Platinum rated Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certified GREEN medical building in the State of California. . The new medical center will offer a new Obstetrics-Gynecology Medical Group office and also an expanded Stockton Cardiology medical Group office.
